Our Appointment System

Consult online with Docklands Medical Centre doctors

As well as medical advice, you can use eConsult for:

| Fit notes  |  GP letters  |  Medical reports  |  Medication reviews  |  Test results |

It may not be necessary for you to attend for an appointment.  You can submit an e-consultation via the link on the home page.  You can submit details about your condition or your administration request and you will receive a response from the practice usually within 24 hours but you will be advised of the timeframe once you have submitted.

We will ask that you contact the surgery on the day you need to see a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner and we will endeavour to give you an appointment time to either be seen, or talk to a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner on the phone.

I still need to see or talk to someone at the surgery

Booking routine appointments at our surgery

Routine appointments with doctors can be booked by telephoning 020 7537 1444 (option 3) or making an appointment directly with reception. It may be that you do not need to see a doctor but instead need to see one of the other health care workers. If so, please ask the receptionist who will help you.

Remember, if you are unable to attend your appointment please tell us so that we can offer that time to someone else.

Booking appointments online with EMIS PatientAccess

EMIS Patient Access allows patients to book and manage their appointments online and also to request repeat medication. From the 1st August 2014 registered patients aged 16 years and over will be able to view their medical records On Line.  To have access you will need a password please ask at reception. Also a photo ID will need to be shown at reception to go ahead with the process.

  • If you don’t have a PatientAccess account, please request one from reception staff.
  • If you already have an account or have the necessary document to create one please CLICK HERE to access the Emis booking system.

Appointments with practice nurses

The practice nurses are qualified general nurses who have decided to specialise in primary care work. If you need to see the nurse please make an appointment. The nurses work closely with the doctors and they are committed to promoting good health and preventing illness. As we have nurses with very varied skills and qualifications it is very helpful if you can give some idea of the type of help that you need.
